Our Philosophy

Poetry of Skin is treatment-room skincare for sensitive, changing, and barrier-compromised skin.

Founded by Korean-American esthetician and cosmetic formulator Grace Paik, each formula is informed by her work with acne, pigmentation, rosacea, eczema-prone skin, sensitivity, and barrier damage in her San Francisco skincare studios.

Rooted in Korean skin philosophy

Our approach begins with hydration, barrier support, consistency, and gradual renewal.

We believe effective skincare should work with the skin, not overwhelm it.

Gentle does not mean ineffective. It means thoughtful enough to create change without unnecessary irritation.

Botanicals meet modern formulation

We do not believe skincare must choose between nature and science.

Purposeful botanicals, antioxidants, vitamins, barrier-supportive lipids, and modern actives are selected for one reason: to serve the skin and the formula.

Made and formulated in San Francisco

Poetry of Skin is both a formulation practice and a working Korean skincare studio.

Our products are developed in small batches, closely connected to Grace’s treatment-room work and the people using them.

The treatment room informs the formulas.
The formulas return to the treatment room.
